Sahil Deshmukh

This is Sahil Ravindra Deshmukh. He is 13 years old and identified as a SEVERE CASE OF MENTAL RETARDATION. He also suffers from OHCP and has issues walking or using his hands efficiently. He was dropped off at Aniket Seva Bhavi Sanstha in 2015 as he lost his mother very early on and his father being a severe alcoholic, refused to look after him. He hails from Kopergaon.

When he came he wasn’t toilet trained and had a lot of difficulties settling down. In fact, he had to be fed by someone and also suffers from a speech problem. But he is EXTREMELY ENTHUSIASTIC when it comes to going out and is always promptly ready to go for Bal Kalyan.

He loves to work and support the organisation but due to his health complications, there are limitations to what he can do. However, he LOVES TO SWIM and has shown very good inclination towards it. But due to limitations in available facilities as far as swimming is concerned, he hasn’t been able to get the exposure he needs.

This child is never going to be able to live an independent life so, in terms of HELP, every kind of help in ensuring he can have a comfortable life at Aniket is welcome.
